The goal is to create confident and happy students and horses. Relaxation and stability are key whether going on light trail rides, running barrels, or show jumping.
Good horsemanship = fairness, clear communication, work ethic, selflessness, honesty, athleticism, and will to learn.
Jacquelines goal is to give her students and horses a helping hand on their path to success!
Jacqueline has experience in a handful of disciplines.
She is highly knowledgeable in H/J, Eventing (Show Jumping, Dressage, and Cross Country), Working Equitation, Trail/Endurance, and Gymkhana Games.
She is also knowledgeable in lower levels of Reining, Ranch Work, and Western/English Pleasure.
Casual to competitive.
Jacqueline specializes in starting, restarting, re-schooling, fine tuning, conditioning, and problem solving.
She has worked with many breeds, ages, physical conditions/limits, and mentalities. She has studied under a handful of great horsemen within multiple disciplines and styles.
She comes from an all around back ground that focuses on the basics of good horsemanship and fine riding. Jacqueline believes in clear communication, patience, and fairness on the ground and in saddle.
She understands there is always something to learn and believes there is no one size fits all program for teaching horses. Keeping equines moving naturally and efficiently is a constant goal.
She enjoys getting to know an animal, creating some amount of a bond is crucial.
Jacqueline believes it is important to keep a sensible amount of communication
with the owner; any vices or changes in the equines mental/physical state will be noted and relayed.
With owners preferences and chosen discipline in mind, aids/cues are kept clear, simple, and effective.
She is fair to her animals in response to poor habits and is assertive in asking them to put their energy else where and to not repeat the unwanted habit.
Jacqueline has great empathy, she understands that even when the goals for two horses are the same, the path to said goals will be different for each animal.
Grooming and attentive care is a given in her program, aside from cleanliness, she believes it is the best way to stay ahead of ailments and injuries.
You can believe your horse will be treated with respect and kindness.
